Beautiful illustrations and an overall adherence to the RWS standard (albeit a bit more multicultural, as is the much-needed trend these days) make Robertson and Dillon's Mermaid Tarot both a lovely fantasy piece and a workable reading deck. Whether one prefers this deck/book set to Lo Scarabeo's Tarot of Mermaids alternative is, in the end, a matter of taste; the advantage of this Llewellyn offering is the full-size, 288-page guidebook that accompanies it.
