Reproduction of a 1725 "educational" 62-card tarot deck (a "tarocchino", or small tarot, wherein the pips numbers two through five are removed) designed to teach geography of the period. Although elements of Marseille-like trumps and pips appear at the tops of the cards (and not in the traditional order at that), the image space is dominated mostly by facts about various countries, cities, and governments. This edition was produced by Lo Scarabeo on high-quality cardstock, in a limited edition of 2,999 numbered copies.
