As with the Noblet and Dodal tarots, Letarot.com Editions has created a restored version of the Jacques Vieville Tarot majors(originally ca. 1650). Many agree that the reversal of the Vieville images as compared to other tarots of the period may have resulted from a need to recopy the images from a printer's "positive" sheet. The deck therefore includes both a reproduction of the majors as found in the French National Library, and what is speculated to be the original, non-reversed deck--This is actually two 22-Card Majors only decks. 44 cards in all.
