The Raven's Prophecy Tarot

While we've classified this one under "Celtic" theme in our departments, the artist / creator of The Raven's Prophecy Tarot writes: "I borrowed the curious and cunning Welsh ravens to symbolize our logical, conscious minds..." While ravens do figure prominently throughout this deck, they are by no means the centerpiece of every card. Somewhat symbolically minimalistic, Maggie Stiefvater simply gets right to the heart of what she wants to showcase about each card's meaning. Dark backgrounds predominate, but the deck is by no means gloomy, revealing instead a subtle beauty within a catalog of simple but powerful "snapshots" of animals, people, and things that are all around us yet often too easily overlooked.
