Images combining elements of the Art Nouveau, pre-Raphaelite, and Symbolist movements are embellished with gold foil-stamped accents, to give Matt Hughes' Ethereal Visions tarot a lush, elegant feel. The symbolism largely follows in the Rider-Waite vein; the pip cards are fully scenic. The major arcana includes two additional cards: The Well (XXIII) and The Artist (XXIV).

Ethereal Visions Tarot
If you are a fan of Art Nouveau/Pre Raphaelite art this deck is for you. There are two extra majors, 22 The Well and 23 The Artist. The pips are RWS based. The drawings are lush and realistic, the colors pastels. Each card is placed in a decorative gilt frame, with gilding elsewhere as well. Ethereal Visions is an apt name for this deck, for it is exactly that. It is a joy to look at and even the 'bad cards' are beautiful. A wonderful deck for all to own.
