Scorpio Sea Tarot

A somewhat free-form deck from artist and author Maggie Stiefvader, the Scorpio Sea Tarot features a variety of creatures (although most heavily showcasing horses and fish) and a refreshingly straightforward cast of "ordinary" people. According to guidebook author Melissa Cynova, these cards do not comprise "a warm and fuzzy deck". Cynova continues on to say that "[t]his deck asks you to go beyond the surface. It asks you to peel back the skin of your reality and look deep, deep inside...". At times, however, the images seem a little too simplistic for achieving that lofty goal -- but we love the character-driven nature of these cards nonetheless.
