Tarock (game of tarot) deck, Inspired by the work of Mauro Boldi, AKA Alan, who is described as an astrologer, card-reader and healer in Milan. Because this is a tarock deck, the suit (minor arcana) cards bear the standard playing card symbols of spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs -- but the court cards remain as King, Queen, Knight, and Page. Each set of court cards depicts a different (stereotypical-ized) culture: Japanese, Spanish/Moorish, Turkish, and Egyptian.
