Desert Illuminations Tarot

Celebrating the culture and mythology of the U.S. Southwest, the Desert Illuminations Tarot offers up an eclectic set of images framed within the Waite-Smith archetypes. From Native American iconography to "The Old West" as depicted by Hollywood to Roswell-like aliens, artist Lindsay Williams serves up a medley of interesting characters rendered in a flat, bold, almost poster-like style with touches of Japanese woodblock flair. The suits have been renamed Chiles (= Wands), Jugs (= Cups), Daggers (= Swords), and Cactus (= Coins/Pentacles). While not gilt coated, the edges of the cards have been painted blue.
