Food Fortunes

Some decks with the word "tarot" in their titles are nothing of the sort. And some decks lacking the word "tarot" anywhere in their identifiers are tarot through-and-through. Food Fortunes falls into the latter category.

Admittedly, there isn't a strong correspondence between this novelty deck's iconography and common tarot symbol systems. But the structure is there -- 22 major arcana ("Trumps"), and four minor arcana suits ("Mains", "Sides", "Drinks", and "Sweets") comprised of ten "pip" cards and four court cards each. The hilariously-written booklet that accompanies the deck instructs the user how to employ the cards to select or create the perfect meal when "analysis paralysis" strikes. Keep an eye out for subtle humorous touches in this one, such as a pictograph of the "cupcake sandwiching" technique on the "Page of Sweets" card.
