Grateful Dead Tarot

A loving tribute to the classic rock-and-roll group, the Grateful Dead Tarot recalls the artwork style that was prominent on the band's album covers, posters, and branding. While completely structurally analogous to a standard tarot, all of the major arcana cards have been retitled (for example, "The Chariot" becomes "The Journey"), as well as the minor arcana suits, which are designated Roses, Skulls, Bolts, and Bears for Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles respectively. Although the accompanying booklet's introduction suggests that much of the deck's symbolism was inspired by the lyrics of Grateful Dead songs, no specific associations with lyrics or songs are detailed in the card descriptions themselves.
