Tarot created and published by the Insight Institute of Great Britain, for use in conjunction with its tarot tutorials. Originally printed ca. 1948 or 1949 (publication date varies by source), the cards were produced with screen printing. Some copies -- reportedly the first printing by some sources, although we could not confirm this -- have square card corners, while other printings feature rounded corners. 78 cards, with non-scenic pips cards in the Marseille tradition. The majors are untitled, and are patterned after a fusion of the Marseille and Waite-Smith designs. Justice is numbered at position 8, with Strength at 11. In the 1970s, the deck was reprinted under the title R. G. Tarot Cards by Rigel Press, in editions that are largely considered to be inferior to the original.
