Samhain Deck of the Bastard

Variant of the privately published Deck of the Bastard Tarot, released in at least five limited printings between 2017 and 2022. The deck appears to use the same illustratrions as the original "Bastard" tarot, providing a mix of images lifted from the Etteilla, Soprafino, and Waite-Smith patterns to create a deck with an "old-timey" feel while retaining interpretability, particularly for new readers. It is difficult to otherwise provide specifics about the appearance of the deck, as various republishings of both the "Samhain" and "standard" releases tend to change the size, back style, border style, and presence or absence of keywords on the cards. Our sample scans are taken from the 2022 (5th) printing of the Samhain deck.
