Artist Pamela Steele brings her view of tarot to this original deck with a strong fantasy flavor. While there is a lot that is familiar here, there is a lot of original touches, too; Steele has opted to include five court cards (Maiden, Page, Knight, Queen, King) for each of the four suits, and has added six Major Arcana cards, making 27 major arcana in all and 88 cards total. The oversize cards measure 4 in. x 5.5 in (10 cm x 14 cm). Originally self-published by the artist in 2006 (sample cards shown above), the deck was reissued in 2023 by Red Feather (a.k.a. Schiffer Publishing) with different borders.
