According to the leaflet accompanying the deck, the makeup includes: "72 face cards - one for every astrological sign for the three ages of man; the customary major arcana; the minor arcana, all with their true meanings painted onto the cards; twenty direct answer and events annex cards; four seasonal age and timing cards; four... temperament cards". By this breakdown, the deck should contain 178 cards, but the artist herself lists the deck as having 154, which is the accurate number, so it is unclear as to how the provided divisions are allocated.
