Tarot based on the writings of 15th century poet Matteo Maria Boiardo. According to information included with the deck, Boiardo composed a series of poems and stanzas designed to be used in conjunction with the game of Trump. Artist Maurizio Bonora's illustrations are rendered in brown ink, in the style of etchings from the period. Some of the cards only loosely approximate, at best, those found in a modern cartomantic tarot. Published in 1996, in a limited edition of 500 copies.
