French for "Tarot of the Night", the Tarot de la Nuit is a largely character-driven tarot that appears to frequently draws inspiration from pop culture literary and media sources such as Game of Thrones, Interview with the Vampire, Frozen, and many others. Male figures are not absent here, but they are few and far between. Although the images have a heavy gothic feel, the author states that the illustrator's primary goal was to find "beauty in darkness". The deck includes an unnumbered 79th card titled "l"Ange de la Nuit" (the Angel of the Night).
