As the title clearly indicates, this is a reproduction of a 1736 Marseille deck by Fran̤ois Chosson -- one of the few historical tarots with an original copy that still exists in its entirety. Published in a limited edition of 3,000 numbered copies. While the deck is printed on thick, modern glossy cardstock, the corners have not been rounded off, in keeping with the historical tradition of the original. Inside the box, the deck is wrapped in a reproduction of its original packaging sheet.
