Tarot of Oppositions

It’s unusual — but not unique — for non-tarock tarot decks to use a set of double-ended illustrations to represent different aspects of a card’s meaning along its continuum. Into this rare arena steps the Tarot of Oppositions — a deck whose upright and reversed perspectives invite the viewer to “see the polarities inherent in each card as something harmonious that leads away from extremes and towards a balance.“ The borders and card titles are present, but mercifully small and unobtrusive, allowing more room to fully showcase the dual imagery used to bring about a more holistic understanding of each.
