Printed on 100% cotton rag paper with archival ink, and housed in a wooden hinge-lid box, this special edition of Place's Alchemical deck is designed as a fine art piece that will last a lifetime. Gone are the columnar borders of the original Thorson's edition, allowing the images to occupy the full expanse of the card. Digitally revised to allow for more color depth and accuracy, this deck also includes two versions of the "Lovers" card -- the Thorsons published version, and an original version rejected by the publishers as "too risqu̩".
