Perhaps taking the Hermetic Axiom “as above, so below“ to its logical extreme, the Body Tarot relates aspects of anatomy to tarot’s traditional associations. While keeping to the standard structure in the majors, the minor arcana is almost totally restructured, consisting of five suits of ten pip cards each, and no courts. The renamed suits are Fire (Wands), Water (Cups), Wood (Swords), and Earth and Metal (both assigned to Pentacles). The drawings are simple illustrations of the organs or elements assigned to each card.
