Gotthold's Transformational Tarot extends beyond the 22-or-78-card format, with a full 100 cards The underpinnings of the deck's symbolism are numerological, which is reflected both in the images and the structure. The extra cards include added courts ("Teacher-Student", "Reformer", "Oracle", and "Sage") and six extra majors beyond "The World" card. For those cards which overlap with the more familiar format, the imagery is clearly RWS inspired. The result is a very usable deck, despite its unconventional aspects, although the artwork style is, in some ways, somewhat unappealing.
