Robert Place goes back to the gothic roots of literary vampires, and the era and culture from which Bram Stoker's classic novel arose. Place's illustrative style is a good fit for the task, and the accompanying book provides some wonderfully insightful guidance. Dark, bloody, yes -- but like the proverbial car crash, it's tough to look away. This deck has a lot to share and to teach, for those who give it a chance.
