Carta Mundi's reproduction of an 18th century "Suisses" pack. The name "Vandenborre Bacchus" comes from the original printer's name (F. I. Vandenborre) plus the substitution of the Greek god Bacchus on card V (more commonly the Hierophant card). A few other major arcana have figures different from the Marseille standard, including "Le'Spagnol Capitano Eracasse" in place of the High Priestess card and a tree instead of a tower on card XVI, named "La Foudre" ("Lightning"). The Fool (Le Fou) is numbered XXII. The deck is also sometimes referred to as the "Flemish Tarot".
