HazelMoon's Hawaiian Tarot

Though not the first Polynesian-themed deck to be added to our database (the Tarot de Tahiti tarock deck and the Polynesian-dappled Tarot de Paul Gaugin are predecessors), HazelMoon's Hawaiian Tarot is the only one, as of this writing (Sept. 2010) to focus exclusively on the culture and landscapes of Hawaii. We'd have liked to have seen a little less border, and a little more of the pictures. But the images will certainly evoke strong associations with the Aloha State, whether or not you've actually had the pleasure of visiting the islands themselves. From peaceful white beaches to fiery volcanos, creator and artist Katalin Csikos invites the viewer to visit her beloved adopted homeland through the lens of tarot.
