Originally published as a majors-only deck and later expanded to a full 78 cards, the Sacred Rose deck features roses of different colors within its illustrations to represent different qualities. For example, white roses are used to suggest purity, whereas gold roses represent achievement. Gargiulo-Sherman has also drawn a great deal of her symbolism from Hermetic Kabbalism. The original 22-card edition was published in a limited edition of 1,000 copies, with gold edges, and were signed and numbered by the aritst.
