Stairs of Gold Tarot (a.k.a. Tavaglione Tarot)

Tavaglione's trademark ornate borders surround the symbolically-eclectic images of this 78-card deck. The pip cards are unillustrated, but at the top of each there is a circle encompassing various symbollic attributions. When originally published for mass market distribution in 1980, the Stairs of Gold cards were also published in a gold-edged limited edition of 1,000 copies.
