The Moroccan city of Marrakech (Marrakesh) provides the backdrop to this otherwise largely-standard tarot deck from France. The creators do add a 22nd Major Arcana card -- an altered second Mejnoun (= Fool) card, bringing the deck card total to 79 cards, which is the atomic number for gold. The suits are Fire (= Wands), Urns (= Cups), Scimitars (= Swords), and Mandalas (= Pentacles).

Gorgeous.
Was thrilled when I saw that this deck was available here as the Italian Publishing company does not ship direct to the US. Card stock is a little thin, but this is a gem of a deck. It's really hard to find tarot with Middle Eastern themes and this one is perfect. My only wish is that the LWB included was a bit more detailed. Theres some great info in it, but I really would like to know more about the authors/artists choices for each card.
