2012: Tarot of Ascension

An obvious tip-of-the-hat to the forthcoming end of the Mayan calendar, this deck purports to examine the new "spiritual era" that will be ushered in on that auspicious date. However, with a color scheme dominated by grays and browns, and scenery that is characterized by crags, deserts, swamps, and the like, the images clearly play to some of the more apocalyptic depictions of that chronological milestone. Which doesn't make it a bad deck by any means... just perhaps a bit schizophrenic.
