Odd kinda-tarot, featuring characters and objects from the novels of Jane Austen. The reason we call this a "kinda tarot" stems from the deck's unusual structure, which is basically that of an illustrated 52-card (plus a Joker) playing card deck. However, 22 of the cards (in no particular order) also bear the titles of the tarot major arcana. For example, the Nine of Clubs bears the additional title "The Sun", whereas the Eight and Ten of Clubs have no such tarot titles. A little creative thinking allows the user to do readings with the cards as either a tarot or a parlour sybil. And of course, there's just the gosh darn fun of enjoying the lovely illustrations by creator Jacqui Oakley.
