Originally published in 1912 as "Il Destino Svelato dal Tarocco" by Bruno Sigon as an Egyptian-based trump set (the 56 minors were taken from a Milanese pattern), based on the work of Papus. This deck has been published many times, including: red backed Italian (Modiano S.p.A. called Cartomanzia 184) deck printings in both Italian and English, and a blue backed one printed under license by US Games (called The Cagliostro) -- the latter of which contains keyword translation errors on several cards (keywords are based on Etteilla's 1783 Book of Thoth Deck). The mostly commonly found printing (in the U.S., anyway) is a 1981 release issued by U.S. Games Systems.
