More than simply a tarot that includes astrological correspondences, each card in this fully-illustrated deck is represented by a particular planet or constellation. An entire range of night sky assemblages is used -- not just the standard 12 signs of the zodiac. The Court card princesses are aligned with one of the four seasons, and the remaining three Court cards in each suit are matched to their traditional elemental correspondences (Fire for Wands, Water for Cups, Air for Swords, and Earth for Pentacles), in their mutable, fixed, and cardinal forms.
