Comparative Tarot III

Information on this tarot is scarce, but according to a couple of tarot enthusiast websites located in Russia, the deck is dubbed "Comparative Tarot III". Technically classified as a collage deck, many of the card illustrations appear to have been lifted whole hog from their sources. The deck includes two different versions of both the "Strength" and "Justice" cards -- one version each numbered "VIII" and the others "XI", presumably to offer readers the ability to use their preferred numbering system (i.e., Marseille vs. Waite-Smith). From the garden-variety, office-supply-store type cardstock to the unadorned (blank/white) card back, we would hazard a guess that the deck is homemade. We were unable to track down any creator attribution. Although the card titles are in English, the actual country of publication cannot be determined.
