Another entry in Lo Scarabeo's "art in the style of" series, the Dulac Tarot is patterned after the work of Edmund Dulac -- an early 20th century artist specializing in illustrations for magazines and classic literature. He is classified as part of the "Orientalist" movement, with his work exhibiting both Victorian and Asian influences. In this deck, Dulac's style is replicated by Italian artist Giacomo Gailli.

    This is the most beautiful deck I have ever seen, the images are so lovely and very intuitive for the cards!

    The dramatic and intricate illustrations lend themselves well to the tarot. Rather than a simple symbol, the Aces each show a scene that invites you in. I find the top borders distracting, but the cards are a nice size for handling. I like that the
