One doesn't have to think much past this deck's title to know what it's all about. Hieroglyphic-style figures representing ancient Egyptian deities and "common folk" represent the tarot archetypes, set against a papyrus (or perhaps fabric) background. Alasia has illustrated several other Lo Scarabeo tarots, including the Etruscan Tarot and the Mayan Tarot.
