Despite the evocative verb, this deck is named for its creator, Jeremy Hush. According to Hush's bio, he is working as "a designer, painter and woodworker specializing in Gilded Age techniques". The imagery of the Hush Tarot certainly has a turn-of-the-(last)-century feel, with delicate creatures and muted colors. The vast majority of the illustrations feature women, even on cards traditionally represented by men.
