1982 deck designed to commemorate the bridal journey of Valentina Visconti. Valentina was the daughter of the first duke of Milan (in the late 14th century). She was betrothed to the duke of Touranie and Orleans, brother of the king of France. The cards depict symbolic scenes and costumes from Valentina's travels and her prenuptial celebration. The pip cards are varied in design, but are not fully illustrated. There are ten extra cards included with the standard 78; these cards commemorate the horse races at the annual Festival of Asti, which Valentina attended on her way to Melun, where she was to meet her bridegroom.
