Well, what can we say... the name pretty much covers it. Since the Kama Sutra itself contains only 64 illustrations -- not enough to provide distinct tableaus for tarot's 78 cards -- Indian artists were commissioned to create designs in the style of the ancient work. The accompanying booklet spends a fair amount of time at the beginning defending the deck's concept and intent to Western (and particularly American) audiences. Some points are well-taken, but for those who are less inclined to assign significance to some very subtle details, the deck may be unreadable. Still, all in all, an interesting exercise, and a nice collection piece for those with a particular interest in the erotically-themed cards. NOTE: Card samples contain sexually explicit elements; viewing is restricted to site viewers aged 18 and over.
