Minute Tarot (limited edition release)

In an attempt to overcome a creative block, artist Robyn Tisch-Hollister attempted to create an entire 78-card tarot deck, capturing the basic symbolism of each card, at a rate of one card per minute. According the artist's report, the average time to produce each card was closer to five minutes -- but, as she says, the intent was there. The results exude a simple, but focused, charm -- with imagery that is easy to grasp and process quickly, allowing readers to get to the heart of a matter without being overwhelmed by unnecessary detail. Originally published in a limited edition of 100 copies, the deck has subsequently been republished by small press favorite, Tarot Connections.
