Comprised of charming line art with tasteful watercolor accents, the illustrations of the Otherkin Tarot tell tarot's stories through the conduit of anthropomorphized animals and creatures from fantastical lore. Although definitely patterned in the RWS vein, the minimized amount of symbolic detail may make this deck a tough inroad for new readers. Conversely, it could be exactly that lack of heavy-handed esoteric metaphor that promotes a solid intuitive approach, keeping the deck from being overwhelming and discouraging.
