A labor of love for creator Mark "Adam" Baum, the Star Trek Tarot was many years in the making. In this officially and fully licensed product, each of the 78 standard tarot cards is paired with one of the 78 episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series. Two additional cards are included: one titled "The Aliens", and the other "The Alien". The extra cards represent the full unaired original series pilot, "The Cage".
In addition to the card-episode pairings, the cards are replete with additional symbolism for both tarot and Star Trek. Ships, astrological correspondences, air dates and more are printed in the card corners, adding flavor and interest without obscuring or diminishing the central images. The accompanying guidebook provides great information on tarot history, symbolism, and how the creator interwove the various Star Trek episodes into the correspondences with careful and loving consideration.
