As the deck's titles suggests, Southwestern Native American tribes are the focus of this classic U.S. Games tarot. Although the traditional art of the Apache, Pueblo, Hopi, and Navajo peoples are featured, the artist has been quoted as stating that she drew inspiration from some 57 native nations. The suits are based on different cultural artifacts: Hopi ceremonial clubs for Wands, Rio-Grande Pueblo pottery for Cups, Apache ceremonial swords for Swords, and Navajo medicine-man sand paintings for Coins (Pentacles).

    I am very happy to have this deck, as the Southwest is a favorite destination. The deck arrived in pristine condition. The images are soft and evocative. Very happy with my purchase from Tarot Garden.
