According to the accompanying guidebooklet, Förhäxa means "bewitched" in Swedish. Consisting of figures of fairies and mermaids in the style of European folklore, the artist writes: "You will notice that the [creatures] in this deck present as female; however, each... is non-binary and possesses masculine and feminine energy." The Minor Arcana suits are names per their most common elemental associations; that is, Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles become Fire, Water, Air, and Earth respectively.
