The Enchanted Förhäxa Tarot

According to the accompanying guidebooklet, Förhäxa means "bewitched" in Swedish. Consisting of figures of fairies and mermaids in the style of European folklore, the artist writes: "You will notice that the [creatures] in this deck present as female; however, each... is non-binary and possesses masculine and feminine energy." The Minor Arcana suits are names per their most common elemental associations; that is, Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles become Fire, Water, Air, and Earth respectively. The deck was original self-published by the artist in 2021, and was picked up for mass market distribution by Hay House in 2023. The artist edition does not include the word "Enchanted" in the title, and has black bottom borders instead of the yellow bottom borders used for the Hay House printing.
