TV Series Tarot

At once fascinating and frustrating, the TV Series Tarot aligns popular television shows throughout history with each of tarot's 78 cards. The deck is fascinating in the sense of the endless hours one could enjoy musing upon and discussing whether the deck's creators made suitable choices for each image. It is frustrating, however, that oftentimes it can be difficult to determine which show is being depicted. The LWB sheds no light on this, with no mention of anything other than the standard reading interpretations. Presumably, the reason for the lack of elucidating detail is due to copyright concerns; faithful renderings and outright mentions of the shows would likely put the publisher in the position of paying royalties that would be untenable for a single tarot paying homage to seventy-eight different intellectual properties. On the plus side, it doesn't take a particularly skilled internet search to find other tarot enthusiasts who have done the work of documenting the full compilation for the rest of us.
