The Tarot Garden now offers our customers the option to add Braille to many of our card products. Please note that this is a service, NOT a product; you must include a deck in your cart along with this service selection for us to be able to fulfill your order.
WHAT IS INCLUDED: This service is only for Brailling cards. Accompanying books, instructions, or leaflets cannot be Brailled, as the custom Brailling of texts is time-intensive and therefore cost prohibitive. Cards are Brailled with the card titles only; no additional keywords, descriptive text, or raised illustrations are included in this service.
BRAILLE OPTIONS: Decks can be punched with contracted or uncontracted Braille; indicate your preference from the options displayed above before adding this service to your cart.
LIMITATIONS: When selecting decks for Brailling, please do not choose "mini"- or "pocket"-sized products, as their limited surface area makes these items particularly difficult to properly punch. "Tin"-sized items and larger are acceptable. Our service is only able to Braille in the English language, even for decks whose titles may appear on the cards in other languages.
TIME FRAME / DELIVERY: Because each deck is punched to order, please allow up to 8 weeks for delivery (although most orders are shipped within 2 - 4 weeks).
HOW TO ORDER: Please match the quantity of this service to the number of decks you wish to have Brailled; for example, if you have three decks in your shopping cart that you wish Brailled, select a quantity of "3" for this service. Since all decks of an order are shipped together, we recommend placing separate orders for Brailled and non-Brailled decks. If opting to have Brailled and non-Brailled decks shipped together, be sure to include information regarding which decks should be Brailled in the "Notes" portion of the final checkout screen. Please contact us if you have questions about this service. All sales on Brailled decks are final.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: 100% of the revenues for this service, minus only the cost of processing payment, goes directly to the Braille service provider.
UPDATE: Due to the popularity of this service, we have begun, as of June 2022, to stock a LIMITED number of Rider (RWS) decks pre-Brailled. Availabiity will vary, but if you are seeking a simple, standard Rider-Waite-Smith deck with Brailling, you MAY be able to receive a deck more quickly by ordering from the page linked here.

The braille was easy to read and the service did not take long at all. I wish I had the service through another Tarot deck I wish I could get that Tarot garden doesn’t have. Pretty good!
I used this service for the Aquarian tarot deck and it turned out rather well! I chose contracted, but when I received it both contracted and uncontracted braille were pressent. Both fit just fine on the cards. So, braille works just fine on even a deck as small as the tin edition. I hope that in the future it will only be the contracted braille, but over all I am quite pleased! Thanks! Tarot Garden for making this availible, so I and other visually impared people can enjoy! Tarot and decks like it.
